" The Pixelboxx is one of the decisive systems for our company as a digital service provider in the fashion business. The image data management and control of access rights as well as the extraction of image data are elementary components for our future cooperation models. The deep integration into our IT landscape creates a real added value and helps us to successfully and innovatively advance the path of digital transformation. "

The Challenge

The management of BRAX image data was largely carried out in cooperation with external agencies. Access rights, interfaces, speed, manual creation of scales and format variants as well as internal and external handling no longer met the requirements of different users and BRAX's own self-image. Our task was to integrate the image files into a central data management system and to design it smart, simple and future-proof according to the requirements of different user groups. In doing so, we had to establish and implement process requirements for uniformity, transparency, intuitive usability, and channel independence.

The Solution

Pixelboxx analyzed the article relevant image processing methods of the fashion label in workshops across departments. The products Pixelboxx DAM as Single Source of Truth and the high-performance Pixelbridge complement each other perfectly to manage the image material and output it to all important channels of the company. Interfaces to enterprise resource planning (ERP), product information management (PIM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and 3D store planning are implemented. The processes between the systems are optimally coordinated. The Pixelboxx DAM serves as a central information source. Pixelbridge ensures the automatic scaling of article images and the provision of different formats according to the different system requirements at the highest level. This is especially advantageous for the output of images for the point of sale and the different marketplaces.

Both the tagging of article images and the image transfer are automated. It is also ensured that only images of articles whose article numbers are actually available in the PIM are displayed in the Pixelboxx. To simplify search processes, the numerical article descriptions have been translated into language terms that are easy to search. This makes work processes much easier and increases the productivity of the fashion company.
