Policy summary
Internet Access
This permission is used to connect to the internet in order to sync user data and work-related information with the web portal. Data is transmitted securely and only for providing app functionality.
Wifi/Network Connectivity
This permission is used to determine network connectivity (Wi-Fi or mobile data) so the app can provide online features and handle data synchronization effectively.
Camera/Video
This permission is used to access the device camera for capturing images and videos within the app. The captured media is stored only for user-generated content such as recordings/memo and is not shared with third parties.
Read/Write Contacts
This permission is used to access and manage contacts for app functionality. Contact data is only used to allow users to create, view, and assign contacts to recordings/memo within the app and is not shared with third parties.
Photo Library
This permission is used to select existing photos from your photo library to attach to a recording. Selected photos are only used as media attachments within the app and are only shared with the destinations you configure (see "Sharing With Third-Party Services" below).
Location Services
This permission is used to determine your current location while using the app. Location supports GPS exclusion zones ("blacklist locations") that automatically disable recording at sensitive sites, and may also be attached to a recording (coordinates and address) to identify where it was captured. This location data is only shared with the destinations you configure (see "Sharing With Third-Party Services" below).
Calendar
This permission is used to let you create calendar events (such as follow-up appointments) directly from a recording. Events are only added to your device calendar at your request and are not shared with third parties.
Speech to Text
This feature allows the app to capture audio input from the user and convert it into text. The recorded audio is used only for generating text content within the app and is not stored permanently without user consent.
Live Transcription
Live Transcription enables real-time conversion of spoken words into text. This data is processed temporarily during the session to display results to the user and is not shared with third parties except for transcription service providers.
AI Processing
The app uses AI-based services to process user data such as text or images to generate structured outputs, insights, or recommendations. User data is processed securely and only for providing app functionality.
Sharing With Third-Party Services
Recordings, transcripts, generated reports, media attachments, and location data are stored on your device and are only transmitted off-device when you explicitly configure and enable a destination in Settings, such as Pixelboxx Cloud, iReport Cloud, FTP/SFTP, JIRA, Microsoft Teams, a webhook, or iCloud Drive. Data is sent only to the destinations you enable and only when you choose to send a recording, and is used solely to deliver your report to that destination.
